Case Studies: Arvida’s Tradeshow Display

Executive Summary

Due to an aggressive schedule of Trade Shows for Late 2003 and Early 2004, Arvida needed an attractive and engaging Display to fill a 20' x 10' booth. The Media Lab | Power Images Marketing Support Team developed, created and delivered a large, easy to set up, interactive display system which can easily be customized and changed for different events or different communities.

Challenge

Arvida needed to present their products and business in a series of Trade Shows.

They had reserved a 20' x 10' area for the shows and needed a display system that would stand out from the rest of the vendors. It had to be eye catching, attractive and most importantly easy to set up and transport.

Solution

The Media Lab | Power Images Marketing Support Team decided to use a simple lightweight photo panel system. Using a “pop-up” display system, the entire unit could be set up in under an hour and could be shipped in just 4 boxes. Since we used a photo panel system, it was designed in such a manner that the display can be used for multiple shows and different communities, just by re-printing only 2 of the15 panels. This cost saving measure has allowed Arvida to use this one particular display for many different shows and to customize the display for each one.

To liven the display we added an eye-catching DVD. A section was cut out of one of the photo panels and a flat screen television was placed behind it. Our multi-media department then went to work creating a montage of images from various communities that could be selected via an onscreen menu with a remote control.

Every piece of the display was then labeled and we created a set of detailed instructions to put it together. The kit was then shipped out to the show where Arvida’s marketing team put it all together without even the need for a phone call to our staff (Although we were there if needed).

The end result was a dramatic 20 Ft. display which was easy to set up and take down while still providing maximum impact. The unit can be easily and cost-effectively customized for different events. The entire display is light-weight and fits in only 4 carry cases, so it is easy and inexpensive to transport.
